Very thrilled to welcome you to the Green Room Series! Week #1

Hey,

I hope you’re doing well! I’m currently in the van’s front seat, mixing my co-piloting duty with writing down this long-awaited missive as we’re on our way back from Beverungen to Cologne! We’re listening to The Cure’s Live in Hyde Park Anniversary album while talking about how yesterday has been truly memorable and emotional for us all, as Alex came back on stage for the first time since his surgery. There truly wasn’t any better place for this to happen than on that stage at the Orange Blossom Special Festival! Such a great start to this festival tour!!!

I really love those moments when we’re all together, all so proud of what we’ve accomplished, what we’ve shared, and what we’ve created together as a unit, as a family, as a band. Especially when, like yesterday, this connection and synergy that we create transcend the concept of having a band on stage and people in the crowd, and that we, all together, give birth to something above and beyond our very own selves, as this is what matters the most to us all. Alex is sharing so many beautiful and inspiring stories some of you have shared with him, as he spent countless hours at the meet & greet tent under the pouring rain! So inspiring...! All of this sounds quite promising for the summer! So blessed to finally be here! 

As we’ll be playing many festivals throughout the summer, I thought it would be cool to invite you to our green room, before or after our concerts, and share parts of what we do and what’s happening behind the curtain of those amazing events! I’ll share exclusive news, moments, conversations, and how we prepare and get ready to go on stage with Alex; a place where we all go through so many deep and powerful emotions as we all rely on one another, improvise, and even write new songs in front of you, like it just happened yesterday at the OBS Festival.
