About the slipmat “North Star”:
The slipmat "North Star" features the sky map of Montreal on July 5, 2019, day on which Alex Henry Foster performed live as a solo artist for the first time at the Festival International de Jazz de Montréal. The sky, immortalized in a print, was our way to commemorate what marked a fateful moment for Alex Henry Foster & The Long Shadows, one that allowed everything that came after to take place, like some sort of a North Star on a dark night.
