The hummingbird featured on the t-shirt “The Will to Overcome” has become a symbol for Alex, as this bird appeared to his window every day at the same time throughout the writing process of “Windows in the Sky”. An album about grief, but mostly about overcoming it, that little bird seemed the perfect example that, however impossible something may seem, there is always a way to overcome obstacles thrown your way and become free.
