We’re in Tangier
Jun 24, 2025
Hey,
I hope you’re doing well! I’m so grateful to be back in Tangier as the summer is just kicking in. What a great time to be in this incredible part of the world! Everything is right back where we left it back in early March when we left, all kind of very sad following the learning of Alex’s Virginia home being completely soaked under the water of its own heating system pipes.
It feels so good to say hello to all our friends while we faithfully walk our daily 10k steps stopping at almost every 100m to speak with someone about family, Tangier, music and friendship, we all hug each other before heading back to our daily objective! What a vibrant city filled with so much humanity! As the Middle East is diving into a deeper darkness, Tangier kept its sanity, which is not an easy thing to do these days as we all know, but being here now, right now, as we’re getting back into music, is an absolutely wonderful time to be here!
It’s a very special day today for all of us living in La Belle Province of Québec, as it’s our national day called Saint-Jean-Baptiste. I’m honoring this wonderful tradition by listening to an artist that really impacted me when I was not even a teenager called Jean Leloup! My favorite album of his is called Le Dôme and this is what’s on right now!
As he so wisely said;
An imbecile is someone whose intelligence stops at what they already know. The greatest danger in our existence especially in spiritual life is fixation, the closure within what has already been accomplished. It is to stop moving forward or to believe that one has arrived, to identify oneself with a given situation and its symptoms.
To continue with the series of rituals, here’s my evening one.

Let’s be great to one another!
