About “A Nightfall Ritual”:
A Nightfall Ritual refers to every moment with which we define the nature of our faith and hopelessness in the colors of morning to come.
Captured during his concert in Cologne, Germany, on July 27, 2024, the 4 songs (2 of which have never been released before) evoke those confusing sensations that come with finding oneself in an uncanny form of emotional suspension, where time seems to be floating between its own auspicious maelstrom and dystopian reality, vacillating through peaceful calm and raging let go.
The album sees Foster and his Shadows display their rich, multi-layered wall of sounds with all the passion and mastery they’re now well-known for, defined by a vivid dramatic honesty that comes with the singer’s comeback into the lights after surviving an emergency heart surgery necessitating a double graft two years ago.
A Nightfall Ritual promises a devotionally intense and sonically rich universe for Alex Henry Foster's long-awaited upcoming album, due this fall.
