Le colibri figurant sur le t-shirt “The Will to Overcome” est devenu un symbole pour Alex, comme cet oiseau est apparu à sa fenêtre chaque jour à la même heure pendant le processus d’écriture de “Windows in the Sky”. Un album à propos du deuil, mais surtout sur le fait de le surmonter, que cet oiseau semblait être le parfait exemple que, peu importe comment quelque chose peut sembler impossible, il y a toujours une façon de surmonter les obstacles qui se trouvent sur notre chemin et devenir libres.
