Hey,

I hope you’re doing great..! It’s right now Monday morning, I’m a little late since I’ve been spending the past few days in Rabat for a music conference called Visa For Music! It’s been such an incredible experience to see, hear, and be part of a music scene coming from all over the African continent and the Middle East! 

I know that those music conferences are not the reality, and they’re defined by a unique spirit of excitement to hear new great music and to meet inspiring people, but I feel like this experience was, at least for me, something very exquisite! Like a warm wind coming from this thriving and so delightfully alive continent, it truly struck me by surprise as it was so powerful, colorful, and distinguished!

Music has limitless power. This powerful scream coming from the deepest corners of our souls has this ability to move us in such a unique way; it connects us with what truly matters and is divinely ordered. It connects us to what it means and feels like to be human, which is not a simple thing but such an important one! It’s a scream from the ground up! From the streets of the cities, the dirty roads of faraway lands, to the ruins of our human decadence and decline as we’re all striving for the same dreams in the end! As our rock 'n' roll, punk, and grunge prophets are getting older, and as the world is getting darker, it was just inspiring to be part of something where, for a few days, music and youngsters were louder than anything else in a world of matter that truly matters!!!

I also wanted to thank you all so much for your incredible messages following the past week's interview! What Alex is sharing, to me, is more than a personal experience, but as we’re all in this together, trying to figure it all out and doing the best we can, he generously opens up a few roads, for you or others around you, to navigate through those dark nights and troubled waters aiming for the brightest of all lights to manifest itself and to unveil and share its most wonderful perfume...!
