An Open Conversation Between Alex and Me

Hey,

I hope you’re well! It’s Sunday morning and I’m currently at the Frankfurt Airport, and since I still have an hour before boarding my flight to Montreal, I decided I would get started with this week’s missive! I might crash in the plane since I haven’t slept much this week, always going back to my room between 2 and 4 am followed by a 9 am alarm, as I had a 10 am meeting (I should never book meetings before 11am! ha!)  The Reeperbahn festival is always insane for me, but I wouldn’t go if it was otherwise! 

I had such a memorable week! I had the chance to meet amazing people, and some friends from The Club which was my favorite part, slightly above my first time attending an FC St. Pauli game with amazing friends!!! Also, what I appreciated the most was that everyone I met all nicely asked how Alex was doing, and asked me to send him their regards, hugs, and so on...! It was very cool and I made sure to do it and he was indeed quite touched and happy about it! 

I also cracked a smile when I walked over the Beatles Plaza on the night of my arrival, as I remembered what I shared with you last year about Alex and I arguing about The Beatles and The Rolling Stones! I never expected this to become a thing as it became! My entire week has been a huge mixture of great feelings speaking of Alex, as everyone was kind of grasping my shoulders and looking at me straight in the eyes, asking “For real, how is Alex doing?!” It’s been really moving for me to share on such a level with pretty much everyone I met during the week.

A few weeks ago, I was with Alex in Los Angeles for a few days as he had to meet some people and we decided to find a cool spot and have what we call a “Conversation” together! Aligned with what I encountered all week in Hamburg, I thought it would be a great time to share this moment with you, as you’ll hear Alex sharing about several great news and accomplishments that occurred this year even if he was resting!

So, exclusively for you, a “Conversation” with Alex and me from Los Angeles!

We’ll have a busy fall season, as so many great things are on the verge of seeing the light of day! It is also why we decided to launch the new app last week! I’ll be sharing some pictures this week since I’ll be writing a personal postcard to everyone in The Club!
