🔈The Last Lathe-Cut Vinyl of Alex’s "Windows in the Sky" series!

Hey,

I hope you’re doing well! I’m right now on the rooftop terrace of La Maison de Tanger on what is such a beautiful Saturday morning! Alex, Ben, Isabel and myself are here for two weeks as we’re getting ready to dive into what will be Alex’s next album. But, before I share some more details with you, I first and foremost simply wanted to thank all of you who have been so generously participating in our “Hope For Morocco” project since it is evolving quite well, and all of our friends working on those sites are sending huge hugs to you all! What an honor it is for Alex and myself to impact the world like this on a daily basis with you all! Thank you again, and again, and again!!!!!

We decided to come to Tangier – where it all started for Alex’s debut album “Windows in the Sky” back in 2018 – in order to dwell on this unique city which changed everything for us! I’ll have the chance to share a little more about this in later Club Missives, as for now, I have some other great news for you! 

I’m currently listening to Alex Henry Foster's latest new release which we sent and gave you access to recently, as I thought there was no better soundtrack for this very unique and powerful moment in time! Alex and I are truly amazed on a daily basis by how things are getting aligned, something we’ve been praying and begging to see happening for such a long time! 

We’re having incredible conversations which started as we sat on the plane, after a month where I was traveling on my own, it was simply so rich and moving for us to finally gather and head toward what will be a trip we’ll never forget. 

As the title of this missive stipulates, we’re about to launch what will be the 8th, and very last lathe-cut vinyl in Alex’s “Windows in the Sky” live from the Upper Room series, which we started in 2020 during the pandemic. This time, it’s around the last song of the record, titled “The Love That Moves”, which was performed live from our church/studio during what we call the Upper Room Studio Sessions back in July 2020. 

Following all of what’s happening around the world right now, we thought there was no better time for us to release a song called “The Love That Moves”. Alex and I both believe that there is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends, and this is what we want to celebrate with you through this unique song, which is the conclusion of such a long and personal journey around the album “Windows in the Sky”. 
 
I have goosebumps on my arms as I’m writing these words to you while being here, in Tangier, hearing the seagulls scream, and watching the entire bay shining under the bluest of all skies...! Life is so rich! 

SOME DETAILS

Here are a few details for those who just joined The Club as I’m sure you have loads of questions regarding this amazing and unexpected release! 
 

First - The Content 

This unique make-of-art vinyl will be the home of the song “The Love That Moves” we performed in July, 2020, in the Upper Room studio, in collaboration with BrooklynVegan as we were finalizing Alex’s first album, live from the Upper Room series! We were supposed to headline a Europe and UK tour that summer of 2020, which only happened last summer of 2022! 
 

Second - The Release Date

This vinyl will be available exclusively for The Club members on November 8th, from 10 am Eastern Time until 9:59 am Eastern Time on Friday, November 10th, when it will become available for everyone (if not sold out already). The LP will also be accompanied by several merch items and in different bundles. I will share every package with you in my weekly letter on Tuesday, November 7th, so you can get ready in advance!
 

Third - The Very Important Details

We will print 200 of those beautiful vinyls and as always, they will be signed, numbered, and Alex will, of course, spend countless hours writing a personal note to everyone who generously purchases one of those 200 exclusive units! There will be no reprints of those vinyls, so it’s an amazing opportunity to put your hands on it! 
 

Fourth - The Shipping Details 

Your personal postmen will be back somewhere in Europe (not in the UK this time) at the end of November! We’re well aware of the customs fees recently added to every imported vinyl, so this is why Alex and I will be traveling in order to ship those vinyls (or anything else) to you and skip those ridiculous taxes! This means no more, or at least, very low fees for you on top of your order! DIY to the core! :) 
 

Fifth - The Free Download

You will access the download of this Live from the Upper Room version of The Love That Moves once the vinyls are sold out! :) This should come up quite quickly!!!! Make sure to download all the previous projects if you haven’t already!
