A conversation with Alex about the designs for Kimiyo!

Hey,
I hope you’re doing well! It’s such a beautiful Sunday morning under a warm sun and I’m listening to Einstürzende Neubauten’s song Ist Ist. I just finished reading the book Some Bizarre last week, of which they’ve been a huge part alongside Swans, Cabaret Voltaire, Coil, The The, and so many others!
It’s been a pretty intense week since Alex and I came back from Mexico as we had to dive back into several things all at once! The week began with a band gathering, as Alex shared with you, to talk about the album, its artistic direction, and how, in the end, we decided to start over again, right from the beginning!
We also discussed the upcoming summer festivals tour as we have to get ready for those. Thrilled to get back on stage and bring this connection of ours to a brand new level!
And last but not least, Alex and I will be traveling to Frankfurt this Sunday in order to deliver those wonderful Kimiyo packages you so generously ordered, as we want to make sure you’ll get those as quickly as possible and without any additional fees!
Speaking of Kimiyo… In my opinion, it’s one of the most beautiful and colorful projects we’ve ever done before, so I asked Alex to join me for an open conversation about how he comes up with such meaningful designs every time!!!
KIMIYO LISTENING SESSIONS
As I’ve been sharing with you in the past few weeks, we will organize listening sessions taking place the week before the release to gather everyone and make this project a global and collective event.
We thought it would be cool to allow you, The Club members, to invite friends and family over at home for an exclusive listening session of Alex’s project, Kimiyo, during the weekend of April 20th. This album is all about treasuring relationships above circumstances!
